An alarming trend has emerged in Google Analytics, particularly noticeable over the weekend, with a surge in the presence of malicious websites. New websites are now appearing and among these are “static.seders.website” and “rida.tokyo”. These malicious sites seem to be part of a broader network, evidenced by their association with a long list of domain names appearing in some users’ Google Analytics data.
Upon conducting a thorough website security scan via Sucuri.com, it was discovered that “static.seders.website” redirects to an infected destination website.
Despite the absence of any detected viruses in the scan for rida.tokyo, further investigation into its WHOIS registration revealed ties to domains harbouring malware.
Given these findings, it is strongly recommended to exercise caution and avoid visiting any of these flagged websites. The interconnected nature of these domains and their potential to host harmful content pose significant risks to users’ online security.
